Conditions of these scholarship

1 Since the Open Merit Scholarship is basically open to all, you will be selected only on the basis of your marks. You need to get at least 60 percent marks in the 10th or 12th examination.

2 In this open merit scholarship, the government selects the students by looking at the marks obtained by the students in 10th or 12th. There is no interview exam or competitive stage in this. •If you are new, then by registering as a new applicant, you should generate your user ID and password, fill in the required information and click on the next option. Also, if the candidate is filling his form for the first time, he will get a one-time solution on his registered number. To verify this number, enter the OTP in the space provided and select the next option

•After that, you should complete all the documents and information required for this scholarship. Upload the given documents in the given size and format and finally, check whether the information you have filled is correct and click on the submit option to process the form further.

•If you want to take advantage of this scholarship in the second year as well, you should go and select the renewals option, fill in the necessary documents and submit this form again so that you will be eligible for this scholarship next year as well.

This scholarship under the Open Merit Scholarship is given to students for the duration of their further education. Generally, students studying in 11th and 12th get a scholarship for two years, while students in graduate school get three years and students at the postgraduate level get a scholarship for two years.
