Pre-matric scholarship for Scheduled Caste students studying in class IX to X
Pre-matric scholarship is given to Scheduled Caste students studying in class IX to X. The state government’s Savitribai Phule Scholarship Scheme is currently underway for girls from the Scheduled Caste hill ranges. There is no income limit in this scheme, but the financial income of the parents of the students who are taking advantage of this scheme should not exceed two lakhs.
Benefits
Under this scholarship, students who do not live in the hostel are given Rs 150 per month for ten months. For students living in the hostel, Rs 350 per month for ten months, i.e. Rs 1500 to Rs 3500 respectively, are given under this scholarship. Also, additional allowances are given for disabled students under this scholarship. For blind students, the reading allowance is Rs 160, and for disabled students who do not live in the hostel, the transportation allowance is Rs 160, and the accompanying allowance for disabled students is also Rs 160. The special thing under this scholarship is that a monthly allowance of Rs 160 has also been provided for the help of disabled students, and a tuition allowance of Rs 240 for mentally retarded students will also be given under this special provision.
Scholarships for children of parents working in cleaning and hazardous sectors
The state of Maharashtra is actually a place where hardworking people feed their families, so this scheme has been launched mainly to bring the children of parents working in various sectors, i.e., in professions that are hazardous to health, into the education stream. The government has introduced this scholarship scheme mainly for the children of students whose parents do health-hazardous jobs like cleaning, leatherworking or garbage collection.
Benefits
The benefits under this scholarship are mainly Rs. 350 per month for students of classes 1 to 2 who do not live in the hostel, Rs. 350 per month for students of classes 3 to 10 who do not live in the hostel and Rs. 800 per month for students of classes 3 to 10 who live in the hostel. The online application of the students from the concerned school is submitted online to the Group Education Officer of the concerned taluka. After that, the application documents are scrutinized by the Group Education Officer and the said application is submitted online to the District Social Welfare Officer of the concerned district. The District Social Welfare Zilla Parishad is approved by them and the scholarship amount of the said students is deposited in the student’s account through the MahaDBT Scholarship system.
Merit Scholarship for Scheduled Caste Students Studying in Secondary School
This scholarship is given to meritorious students of secondary school i.e. students from the first two backward classes in classes 5 to 7 and 8 to 10. It is a special gesture given by the government to those students who work very hard and secure first or second rank in their class. This scholarship is given for a total of ten months. This scholarship definitely creates the determination to pass the class with good marks.
Benefits
Under this scholarship, students of classes 5 to 7 are given Rs 500 per month for a period of 10 months, while students of classes 8 to 10 are given Rs 1000 per month. Maharshi Vitthal Ramji Shinde Examination Fee
Maharshi Vitthal Ramji Shinde Pre-Matric Education Fee and Examination Fee Reimbursement Scholarship of the Government of Maharashtra is mainly given to students from class 1 to 10 to reimburse their tuition fees and examination fees. The benefit provided under this scholarship is that the entire tuition fee and examination fee of backward class students in government recognized non-government aided and unaided institutions charging fees at a standard rate is paid. The religious education fee and examination fee payable to the students are also reimbursed for a period of ten months.
To avail this scholarship, the student should be studying in classes 1 to 10 in private unaided and permanent unaided schools and should be a Scheduled Caste student from a family below the poverty line.
