The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has started the online registration process for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) on September 5, 2023. Interested and eligible candidates can visit the official JAM 2024 website at jam.iitm.ac.in to complete the application process. According to the official schedule, candidates can submit their applications until October 13, 2023. IIT Madras has set the date for IIT JAM 2024 as February 11, 2024.
JAM 2024 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and will consist of seven distinct test papers. These papers include Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH).
All candidates who qualify for JAM 2024 will have the opportunity to apply for admission to approximately 3000 seats in various IITs for the academic year 2024-25.

Here is how to register for JAM 2024:
Step 1: Visit the official website, i.e., jam.iitm.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘JOAPS 2024 candidates portal’.
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Register yourself with your name, mobile number, and email id.
Step 5: Fill in the application form with the required details.
Step 6: Choose your test paper and examination city.
Step 7: Submit your application and take a printout of it for future reference.
